Corporate Compliance Audit
The Corporate Compliance Audit is an independent and impartial review of the Health and Safety policy documentation, procedures and systems against HSG 65. It is carried out by a senior Health and Safety consultant with enforcement and auditing experience and is a comprehensive process culminating in a series of recommendations that take into consideration the organisation’s objectives, budget and legislative requirements.
The key stages of the Corporate Compliance Audit include:
-
Discuss responsibilities for Health and Safety management with key stakeholders
-
Identify Legislation and Regulations applicable to the organisation
-
Undertake a desktop review of all Health and Safety related documentation
-
Complete a series of site visits to verify information and liaise with site staff to gain a full picture of the Health and Safety culture of the organisation
-
Produce a summary report outlining the current compliance status of the organisation and highlight areas of non-compliance, along with areas of excellence
-
Produce a prioritised action plan towards achieving compliance along with practical recommendations tailored to the clients requirements
-
Present the report findings to all key stakeholders within the organisation and agree timescales for actions

ESG through its Soil Mechanics brand were set a tough challenge by RWE npower and met it full on. From the engineer's perspective, it was evident from the start that many parts of the business would need to pull together to achieve the client's demanding programme. Pembroke in November was never going to be easy, but staff on site, in Bridgend and in the labs demonstrated a team commitment to match and on occasions exceed the client's expectations.
