Voelcker Consultants offer a range
of environmental investigation and consultancy services
to clients in both the public and private sectors.
Due to continued success, we are seeking to expand
our team of Environmental Consultants.
ENVIRONMENTAL
CONSULTANT (2 Posts)
Responsibilities
- Providing practical and cost
effective advice to a wide-ranging client base.
- Working within a small team
of environmental consultants primarily in contaminated
land investigation in accordance with the latest
statutory guidance.
- Design, implementation and supervision
of complex contaminated land investigations, controlling
timescales and budgets etc.
- Production of high quality interpretative
reports.
Qualifications
- 1-5 years post qualification
experience covering all aspects of contaminated
land/site investigation (Phase I, II and III).
- A postgraduate qualification
(or equivalent) and membership of a professional
body would be beneficial.
Candidate Requirements
Candidates should possess a sound
technical background with knowledge of legislation
and planning procedures. Experience of dealing with
clients and regulatory authorities (i.e. Environment
Agency and Local Authorities) would be essential. be
able to demonstrate excellent communication skills
and competent use of current computer software packages.
The posts will require the chosen candidates to further
develop the existing activities of the consultancy
team through a positive and committed work ethic.
